Nearby Camping

    USFS/BLM Campgrounds--There are many nearby Govt. Campgrounds. Here are a few.
  • Pigeon Point Campground--5 1/2 miles east of Trinity River Rafting(TRR) on the River. No running water.
  • Hayden Flat Campground--10 miles west of TRR on the River.
  • Big Flat Campground--1/2 mile east of TRR.
  • Ripstein Campground--Near the most popular trailhead to the Trinity Alps--Canyon Creek Road, which meets Hwy 299 at Junction City, 12 miles east of TRR.
  • Hobo Gulch Campground--At a Trinity Alps trailhead along the North Fork Trinity. Turn at East Fork Road, 6 miles east of TRR.
  • Skunk Point Group Campground--1 mile west of TRR on River. No running water. May reserve for groups at Big Bar Ranger District, (530) 623-6106.
