Our location along the Wild and Scenic Trinity River is at the takeout of the prized Pigeon Point run. This location provides easy access and short shuttles for two Class II and one Class III runs. The Trinity River has exciting rafting flows all summer long. Other adventurous Northern California rafting trips that we guide in the Shasta Cascade region are the Upper Sacramento, Klamath, and Salmon Rivers.
Trinity River Rafting shares its location and private takeout with the Trinity Adventure Park which has a store, cafe and campground. Campers and guests overlook a mild rapid with large rock faces and boulders. A sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing is just steps away.
Did the popular Pigeon Point run last week. Early in the season so we had the river to ourselves. A gorgeous setting and our guide Bill was wonderful and made the experience safe and fun. Great trip for those with little to moderate whitewater experience. I'd feel comfortable bringing kids 5+ on this one. We will certainly be using Trinity River Rafting again down the road.

Our guide was hugely experienced and guided us through the increasingly difficult rapids safely as well as showing us the best stop off spots for swimming and rock jumping. Not only was he an awesome guide, he answered all of my questions regarding the area and the river. We were fortunate that the river was still pretty high and experienced class 2 & 3 rapids. We did the Pigeon Point run which was a lot of fun. Lunch served was delicious and the scenery was awesome. We had all the gear we needed for a fun and safe trip with no surprises.
